Everest Singalila Trek
This trek covers the greater reaches of the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary in the West Sikkim, which is well-known for its flowers, and astounding mountain views of Kangchenjunga and Everest. The views are complimented with tenting in dense Oak and Rhododendron wooded area amidst the calls of barking deer and wild birds.
In Barsey one passes thru dense thickets of Rhododendrons beneath the tall mountain ridge encumbered with conifer forests of silver fir and hemlock. The trek winds its way via the supply of two rivers, which originate from moist grassy meadows. After Thulo Dhaap the path climbs up to the Singalila Ridge and from Phokety one can journey the break of day on Everest and Kanjchenjunga, the best and 0.33 easiest peaks in the world.
